Strut to Success, Inc. is seeking caring, dependable, and community-minded adults to serve as volunteer mentors supporting girls through mentorship, leadership development, confidence-building, emotional wellness, and meaningful community connection.
Strut to Success intentionally creates spaces where girls—particularly Black girls—can recognize their worth, see what is possible for them, develop confidence, build healthy relationships, and feel empowered to take up space in their schools and communities.
Volunteer mentors may have opportunities to participate in Teen Strut Circles, school-based programming, workshops, special events, community activities, and other mentorship initiatives throughout the year.
Strut to Success is looking for volunteers who are dependable, encouraging, respectful, culturally responsive, and passionate about supporting the growth and development of girls. Volunteers should understand the importance of appropriate boundaries, confidentiality, consistency, and creating safe and welcoming spaces for youth.
This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity. Volunteer schedules and time commitments may vary depending on the program, school partnership, or event. Volunteers working directly with youth may be required to complete applicable screening, orientation, and/or background-check requirements before participating.
Professionals, college students, educators, community leaders, entrepreneurs, and other adults interested in making a meaningful impact are encouraged to apply.
