Window Treatment Design Consultant

Budget Blinds is searching for a creative and driven Window Treatment Design Consultant to guide clients through selecting and ordering custom window coverings. You will meet with clients in their homes, assess their light control and privacy needs, and manage projects from the first meeting to the final setup. 

Key Responsibilities

• Client Consultations: Meet with clients in-home to discuss style preferences, budgets, and functional needs.
• Design & Product Advice: Recommend blinds, shades, draperies, motorized and automated window treatments that match the client's home decor.
• Precise Measuring: Take exact measurements of windows to ensure proper product fit.
• Sales & Quoting: Provide price estimates, process payments, and place product orders with manufacturers.
• Project Coordination: Work closely with installers and back-office staff to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Lead Follow-Up: Answer customer emails, phone calls, and track leads using CRM software. 

Qualifications

• Experience: Background in interior design, retail sales, or home decor.
• Communication: Friendly, clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong math skills for accurate window measuring and quoting.
• Tech Skills: Comfortable using digital tools, tablets, and software for quotes and designs.
• Transportation: A valid driver's license to travel for in-home client visits. 

Compensation

• Base pay plus commission
