In-Home Caregiver

Job Summary for In-Home Caregiver Position with AlaniCare Home Care

AlaniCare Home Care is hiring reliable and compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home
support to seniors and adults in Bloomington, Indiana. We offer non-medical personal care
services (assisting with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their overall
well-being). We welcome caregivers of all backgrounds who are aligned with our values of

Starting Pay: $16.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Help clients with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help with mobility and safe transfers (e.g., bed to chair)
• Perform light housekeeping and home organization
• Give medication reminders
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or walks
• Document daily activities and any significant changes in clients' conditions

Qualifications:

• A compassionate and dependable nature
• Prior caregiving experience, HHA or CNA license preferred, but not required
• Comfortable providing care in clients' private homes
• Reliable transportation & valid driver's license to travel to client's private home
• Physically capable of performing caregiving tasks
• CPR/First Aid certification a plus (or willingness to get certified)
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass background screening
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Must be 18 or older
