Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Security Systems/Low Voltage Technician to join our team. This position involves installation, troubleshooting, and service of various electronic security, networking, and low voltage systems in residential and commercial settings.
Background check, references, and drug test will be required prior to job-offer.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and service alarm systems, IP cameras, access control systems, and network equipment
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices and connections
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues across various systems
- Run and terminate low voltage wiring (alarm, data, audio/video)
- Work in various environments including attics, basements, roofs, and confined spaces
- Provide professional customer service while on-site
- Provide Customer training on new systems
- Learn new technologies and continuously develop technical skills
- Document work and communicate with office regarding issues and/or needs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required)
- Clean background check (required)
- Strong problem-solving skills (required)
- Physical ability to climb ladders, crawl in confined spaces, lift 50lbs, and stand for extended periods (required)
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Experience in security systems, networking, low voltage, or IT (preferred)
- Experience with Alarm and Access Control systems extremely preferred
- Experience with wire pulling and network termination (preferred)

- Competitive pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour, based on experience
- Monday to Friday day shift (Rare weekend shift may be required based on need)

We occasionally have the opportunity to send our technicians to paid in-person training. If this training is in another city/state, Leading Edge will pay for a hotel room, a per-diem for food, and the employee's hourly rate for the training day.
