The Bottling Line Operator supports daily bottling operations by setting up, operating, monitoring, and cleaning equipment on the winery bottling lines. This role ensures efficient production while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and sanitation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of bottling lines.
· Perform cleaning and sanitization of equipment and work areas in accordance with company procedures.
· Operate assigned bottling line equipment, which may include:
o Forklift
o Labeler
o Palletizer
o Capsular
o Case Packer
o Carton Sealer
o Carton Labeler
o Depalletizer
· Support preventive maintenance activities, basic troubleshooting, and timely reporting of equipment issues.
· Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to quality assurance standards throughout production.
· Complete assigned winemaking work orders as needed, including tank cleaning, filtration, and wine transfers.
· Follow all safety, GMP, and sanitation requirements.
· Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
· High School Diploma or equivalent required.
· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
· Ability to frequently lift 50 or more lbs. or more.
· Valid driver’s license and eligibility to be insured on company vehicles.
· Must be at least 21 years of age.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position operates in a winery/production environment and requires prolonged standing, walking, lifting, and occasional climbing ladders. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, elevated work areas, fumes, airborne particles, cleaning chemicals, and varying outside weather conditions.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
· Annual performance review conducted by Management.
· Annual goals to be determined collaboratively with Supervisors.
TYPICAL SCHEDULE:
This is a full-time position. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts generally between 7:30am-4:30pm. Hours may vary based on seasonal production demands.
FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
