Come join the PALS Board of Directors team
Who are we?
PALS is a nonprofit equine-assisted learning center. We are dedicated to providing meaningful experiences for individuals with disabilities, veterans, senior citizens, and underserved youth. Proudly recognized as a PATH Intl. Member Center as well as a CHA Accredited Site, we prioritize crafting personalized and secure experiences for all participants.
What do we do?
PALS promotes joy, quality of life, better health, and empowerment by providing therapeutic programs with horses. We provide adaptive riding and ground lessons for children and adults with physical, developmental, learning or emotional differences.
Why does it matter?
Our programs harness the transformative potential of the human and horse connection, tailored to address the needs of both individuals and groups. Facilitated by certified professionals, including PATH and CHA Certified Instructors, we aim to ignite emotional, cognitive, social, and physical growth through interactive activities with horses.
Since our inception in 2000, PALS has dedicated over 21,000 equine-assisted program and service hours, along with various educational initiatives and camp opportunities. Our commitment reaches across generations, positively impacting the lives of hundreds of children, adults, and older people in the south-central Indiana community, ages three and up.
