Position Details
We are actively hiring individuals seeking full-time or part-time employment opportunities to join our fun and fast-paced team at One World Catering located at the beautifully renovated Woolery Mill.  Candidates with Saturday availability will be prioritized.  Scheduling is flexible based around your availability.  Enjoy high-end event experiences and lots of free food!

Salary & Compensation
This is an hourly position.  Prompt raises can be achieved for staff who show ambition and a desire to become trained as Event Leads.  All Servers and Bartenders at One World Catering share a 7% automatic gratuity charged to all clients.  On average, the gratuity adds an additional $1.00 - $2.00 per hour on staff wages.  Some events may also have cash tip opportunities.

One World Catering staff may share and take home leftover food and open wine (21+ only) leftover from events.  All staff of One World Catering also receive 10% discounts at our other brands: Pizza X and Hive.

Job Description
Staff members are responsible for setting up and executing catered events at our venue (Woolery Mill) as well all over Bloomington and surrounding areas.  Events range from 10-500 guests and include events for IU, weddings, Non-Profit Organizations, local businesses, etc.

Requirements

• A valid Indiana Alcohol Permit and 21+ years of age (Bartenders only).
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
• Can work required dates (mostly Saturdays, other dates will be updated).
• Good listening skills and the ability to learn quickly on-the-job.
• Thrive in a fast-paced setting and can be proactive with tasks.
• Ability to work both individually and as a team member.
• Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to stay on your feet for the duration of your shift.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must have weekend availability.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.
